AI Credits used with no output

AI credits used up no output - I've tried couple times, and each time it has consumed AI credits and no produced any output and now I'm out of my credits.

 

It did say a lot about plan and working on screens, but then after 15 or so minutes, it just goes back to prompt - i.e. no output and the prompt input is back in the input field and credits consumed.

 

Now that means, I’m out of monthly allowance and it’s been a waste of time too. Seem like pushing people to pay for it even though the free plan exists. I’m quite disappointed In how that’s been working. It used to be fine and I’ve got good progress, but now seems broken. I do like the feature and would appreciate if you can make it work and provide me some credits to get my work done.

AI credits are consumed based on the work Figma Make performs in response to a prompt. What you're describing, Figma Make reasoning through your prompt, mentioning your plan and screens, then landing back at the prompt box with nothing to show for it, isn't the outcome that's supposed to happen. I'd get your specific runs checked than guess at what occurred.

Since that needs a look at your account and file directly, could you reach out to us with more details. A link to the affected Figma Make file and roughly when the failed prompts happened, through our Support Hub? That'll let the team take a closer look at what happened on those specific runs and work out the right next step.

That sounds really frustrating, especially when the AI credits are being consumed without actually producing an output. Spending 15+ minutes waiting only to end up back at the prompt would be disappointing, particularly when the feature worked well before. Hopefully support can investigate the failed runs and restore the credits that were used without a result.
