AI Credits for Professional Teams with Full Seats

Hello, I’d like some clarification regarding how AI credits are handled for team members within a professional license team with Full seats. A team leader purchases a professional license and a Full seat for a team member. If the team member has a starter account, do they only have access to the starter account AI credits, or do they get the full 3,000 credits per month since they have a full seat in the team?

    I understand there’s some confusion regarding how AI credits are distributed among team members.

     

    First, it’s important to note that plans are tied to specific teams, not to individual user accounts.

    When a team is upgraded to a Professional plan, that entire team operates under the Professional plan.

    Even if a member uses a free Starter plan team for their own personal projects elsewhere, the moment they are assigned a paid Full seat within a Professional team, they are treated as a Professional plan user within that specific team.

    In other words, you cannot hold a free Starter plan seat inside a Professional team; the seat type always reflects the team’s overall plan.

     

    Regarding your question about AI credits:

    If a member is assigned a Full seat in a Professional team, they will have access to 3,000 AI credits per month.

    To verify a member's seat type, a team admin can check and manage assigned seats via the Admin from the file browser.
