AI credits error
I used Figma AI to generate 32 mobile adaptations of existing designs in my Figma file. However, the process failed before the generated screens could be saved to the canvas.
The response I received was:
"I couldn't finish saving the 32 mobile adaptations because of a temporary Figma issue. The original designs are unchanged, but the mobile screens aren't available on the canvas. Please try again shortly."
Unfortunately, the generation consumed 1,452 AI credits, but none of the 32 mobile screens were saved or made available to me. My original designs remain unchanged, and I can no longer retry the task because my available AI credits have been exhausted.
This has significantly disrupted my design workflow, as I now have neither the expected output nor the credits needed to complete the task.
I understand that AI generation can sometimes encounter technical issues, but I don't believe users should be left without their work or the credits consumed when a generation fails to save due to a temporary platform issue.
I would appreciate it if your team could:
-
Investigate the failed generation and determine why the 32 mobile adaptations could not be saved.
-
Check whether any of the generated screens can be recovered.
-
Restore the 1,452 AI credits consumed by this failed operation, or provide an equivalent credit adjustment so I can complete the task.
I'm happy to provide the Figma file link, screenshots of the error message, the approximate time of the incident, and any other information needed to investigate.
I'd appreciate your help resolving this issue as soon as possible.
Thank you.
