AI aget missing on education plan

Hi! I upgraded my students to an education plan, I saw that the plan comes with AI credits. But after the verification and set up,  I realised the AI agent is completely missing. Can we request for AI agent to be reinstated for Education plan?  Or is there any way to undo the conversion to get back the AI agent, or any similar plugin we can use? It’s an irony that users on free plan gets to use it while those on education doesn’t..thanks!

AI tool availability on the Education plan depends on the type of institution your education status was verified under:

  • Higher education and bootcamp: AI tools, including the agent in Figma Design and Figma Make, are available. The agent is rolling out gradually, so you’ll see Figma agent in the left navigation bar of a Figma Design file once it reaches your account. Agent usage draws from your monthly AI credits.
  • K-12 and high school: AI tools, the agent in Figma Design, and Figma Make aren’t available on Education teams.

 

If you’re in higher education or a bootcamp and don’t see Figma agent yet, make sure you’ve reverified through the updated verification process. The Figma for Education article walks through the steps, and Work with the Figma agent in design files covers how to use the agent once you have it.

 

I’ll also share your feedback about AI access on K-12 and high school Education teams. Hope this helps!
