Adding a Position Keyframe makes the object jump back to its initial position

I’m experiencing an issue with Figma Motion that seems to have started recently.
My usual workflow is:
- Select an object.
- Move the playhead to the point where I want the animation to start.
- Add a Position keyframe.
- Move the object to create the first movement.
- Move the playhead further along the timeline.
- Add another Position keyframe to continue the animation.
The problem is that when I move the playhead to a later point in the timeline and click Add Keyframe → Position, the object immediately jumps back to its original/initial position on the canvas.
This happens as soon as I click Add Position, before I even move the object.
The expected behavior is that the object should remain at its current interpolated position, and the new keyframe should continue from that position.
This makes it impossible to smoothly create multiple Position keyframes because adding a new keyframe resets the object visually to its starting position.
I’ve attached a screen recording showing the issue.
This behavior did not happen in my previous workflow, so I suspect it may be a recent regression or bug in Figma Motion.
