After changing my password, my Figma account appears to have switched to new profile.
All my recent files are missing and only very old files are visible.
It looks like my original account/profile was disconnected or duplicated.

I need help recovering my original account and restoring my recent files.
Please check for duplicate accounts under my email and merge them if needed.

Email used: [redacted by forum moderator to remove PII]
Names or descriptions of missing files: HORIZIN OR ANALITIX

I will appreciate it if you could help me. Thanks

Hey @strategma, thanks for reaching out!

Based on the email you shared, I’m currently seeing an account on the Starter plan, which makes me wonder if a second account may have been created when you changed the password?

To help track the files, could you please send me URL links to any of the missing files (for example,  HORIZIN OR ANALITIX) via DM? Once you’ve sent them, just let me know under this post and I’ll see if I’m able to locate them.

Thank you for your help!

Thanks for your response, since I couldn’t login to my account for unknow reason I changed the password and I had to create a new account, because the main one couldn’t open, but I found a backup local file of my projects now I can open them. They work properly as well, so Thank you for your help!

I’ve the same problem. I only have one account and one email, upgraded to the new version of Figma today, and my projects disappeared. Once I try to access it says that I need to request access, to myself. What can I do?
