Same as title! Now I am unable to remove the edu status for this account. When i try to reverify the student status for my original account, it says “

Verification Limit Exceeded

We're glad you're enthusiastic, but it looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer.”

I have also submitted a ticket. Please help!

In the meantime, as Figma is working with SheerID to reset your verification attempts, if you’re still experiencing issues with your application, I’d suggest reaching out directly to SheerID support, as they handle the entire verification process, they will be able to reset your verification attempts.

Please work directly with SheerID to verify your status, Figma does not manually review individual user eligibility or documents.

I need urgent assistance with my Figma Education Plan. Due to a mistake, I verified the plan on the wrong email ID. My correct account’s Education Plan is now expiring today, and I haven’t received any reply from the education@figma.com team despite multiple emails.

I don’t want to share personal details publicly here, but I would be grateful if a Figma Community Moderator or Support Team member could kindly guide me on how to escalate this issue or let me know how I can share my account details privately for resolution.

This is extremely important as I rely on the Education Plan for my academic work. Any help would mean a lot.

Thank you so much for your response and for pointing me toward the form. I’ll make sure to fill it out right away.

I do want to clarify one important detail: the account where I mistakenly applied my Education Plan was actually a company account. I have since resigned from that organization, and as a result, my company email has already been deleted. Unfortunately, that’s the account where the Education Plan was verified by mistake.

Because of this, I no longer have access to that company account and urgently need my Education Plan restarted on my personal account (the one I use for my studies). This is very important for my ongoing academic work.

I really appreciate your help and guidance in resolving this issue. Thank you again for your support.

Thank you for the extra details! I completely understand how stressful this must feel when your studies rely on the plan.

To clarify, the Figma team cannot move status from an account associated with educational email address to an account associated with a personal email address (such as gmail.com or yahoo.com).

The best next step is to submit the Request to Move Figma EDU Status form with as much detail as possible, include both the former company email and your current personal email. Our Education team will review the case and let you know if any exception can be made.

Since you’ve already contacted education@figma.com, please rest assured they’ll get back to you. Requests are handled in the order received, and current response time can be up to 5 business days due to high demand.

Just to clarify, the email where I mistakenly applied the Education Plan was a company email (not an educational one), and that account has since been deleted.

Thank you so much for clarifying and guiding me through the next steps. I’ve already submitted the Request to Move Figma EDU Status form and also shared the details with the Education team over email.

Since my original Education Plan is set to expire today, I just wanted to share that this situation is a little stressful for me, but I completely understand there may be a queue and review process. I’ll wait for the Education team’s response and really appreciate your support in pointing me in the right direction.
