Accidental Editor Assignment – One-Time Charge Refund Request

Dear Figma Support,

I noticed an additional charge under "One-time charges and credits" after I mistakenly assigned a team member as an Editor, which triggered a paid seat. I immediately reverted them back to View-only, and the seat was never used.

Since this was an unintentional action. I kindly request a cancellation or refund of the related charge. I understand that Figma charges automatically when a seat is upgraded, but I would greatly appreciate your understanding in this case.

Hey ​@Pug - thank you for your request, and sorry if this unintentional change has caused you any problems.

To protect your personal information, we are not able to assist with any billing changes on the forum (refunds requests, payment method changes, etc), so you will need to receive assistance from our support team via email. 

Can you please do the following?

In the Figma website or Figma desktop app, you should see an icon that is a question mark “?”

  • Please click on that icon, and select “contact support”
  • From there, you should be able to provide details + your request

Using our contact feature helps support find the charges associated with your account easier. While I can’t guarantee any potential refunds, let me know once you’ve gone through these steps. I can then try to escalate your ticket.
