Dear Figma Support,

I noticed an additional charge under "One-time charges and credits" after I mistakenly assigned a team member as an Editor, which triggered a paid seat. I immediately reverted them back to View-only, and the seat was never used.

Since this was an unintentional action. I kindly request a cancellation or refund of the related charge. I understand that Figma charges automatically when a seat is upgraded, but I would greatly appreciate your understanding in this case.

I understand that you accidentally assigned a paid seat and are requesting a refund.

Unfortunately, due to security and privacy reasons, we’re not able to handle specific billing issues directly here in the forum.

 

That said, I’ve gone ahead and created a support ticket for you using the details you provided(#1527771). One of our specialists will follow up with you directly once they’re ready. The response will be sent to the email address associated with your account.I’ll go ahead and close this topic now. Please continue the conversation regarding any billing concerns directly through the ticket email.

 

For others who may come across this post with a similar concern: please note that we don’t issue a prorated refund when a user is moved to a free View-only seat during the billing term.
