I can no longer use the AI features after switching accounts. It is very inconvenient because I was able to use them with my previous account.

Hi @RKFGM — Celyn from Figma Community Support here.

Thanks for reaching out, happy to help.

I took a look at your account and can see that you’re currently on a Starter plan and were previously on a Professional plan.

Just to clarify, when you mentioned that you “can no longer use the AI features after switching accounts,” could you share a bit more about what you’re seeing?

For context, AI features like background removal and image generation are available on the Starter plan, though the AI credit limit is lower than on the Professional plan.

Starter plans include 500 AI credits per month, with a daily usage limit of 150 credits, and hitting either can temporarily block usage.

To check if this might be related to your credit availability, you can:

  • Open the Main menu in any file
  • Select AI balance to confirm if you still have credits remaining

If you still have credits available but the features aren’t showing up, feel free to share a screenshot and the team can investigate further.

In the meantime, you can also learn more about how AI credits work here:

Happy to help take a closer look once we understand what you’re seeing.

Hi @RKFGM, thanks for providing a screenshot!

In Figma Design, AI tools are available via the Actions menu, which is shown in the Figma toolbar in your screenshot:

Again, your AI balance, as outlined by Celyn above, is available here: Main Menu > AI balance:
