It sounds like the account of your student may be in the “Verification Limit Exceeded” state. When this happens, the verification process is fully handled by SheerID (our student verification partner). That means only SheerID can reset or clear the verification lock.
Unfortunately, Figma Support isn’t able to manually review documents or override eligibility from our side.
The best next step is to contact SheerID directly through their Help Center here: https://support.sheerid.com/en-US/help-center?. They typically respond within about 7 business days.
