Request to Recover Missing Figma File

Hello Figma Support,

I’m contacting you because one of my Figma files has disappeared unexpectedly.

The file is no longer visible in my account, and other team members also cannot find or access it. I already checked Drafts, Recent files, and Trash, but the file does not appear there.

Here is the information I have:

  • Account email: [redacted by moderator to remove personal information]
  • File name: FIXINO
  • Team / Project name (if applicable): TEAM
  • Approximate date/time when it disappeared: TODAY
  • File link (if available): [redacted by moderator to remove personal information]

     

Could you please check whether the file can be recovered or help identify what happened?

    Hey ​@amirhossein421, thanks for raising this. I can't access and share out account specifics here, but I do want to make sure this gets resolved as soon as possible. I went ahead and opened a ticket on your behalf with our Product Support team so that we can confirm specifics. Your case number is: 1950174, and they will be in touch with you as soon as they've had a chance to review.

    I also removed some personal information from your post to protect your privacy and security — just something to be mindful of in public forums going forward!

    In the meantime, one thing worth double-checking: Head to Trash in the left side panel of your file browser, and make sure the "Created by" filter is set to anyone (not just files you created). This filter can sometimes cause files to appear missing even when they're still recoverable.
