Hi team,

We are moving from SketchApp to Figma, we have some queries as follows:
1. If we will move from Sketchapp to Figma, can all sketch files be imported into Figma?
2. we purchase full seat, then is it possible that one designer and one developer can use the same seat?
3. also is there any third-party prototyping tool will be required?
4. how many projects are allowed to create?

Can you please tell us and guide us for moving to the software that will be very helpful for us?

Hey hey @Vijay Oberoi 👋 Welcome to our community! We’re happy to have you here.

I have some answers to your questions:

  • Can all Sketch files be imported into Figma? Yes — see this guide to learn more. A few things to keep in mind: import is a one-time conversion (no ongoing sync), styles don't carry over and will need to be recreated, and very large files import more reliably if they’re split up

  • Can one designer and one developer share a Full seat? Since seats are tied to individuals and we don't support shared logins, the best path forward is separate seats. Dev Mode has its own seat type specifically built for this use case. How does your team currently handle handoff?

  • Is a third-party prototyping tool required? No — prototyping is built into Figma Design. If you have a specific tool in mind, share it and we’ll see if the community has any feedback or experience with it!

  • How many projects can we create? It depends on your plan. The Starter plan is limited to one project; Professional, Organization, and Enterprise plans include unlimited projects and files. Here's Figma’s Guide to files and projects.
