👋 Introduce yourself!

Hi all - I just discovered Figma at my large corporation as I use eLearning tools and interact with developers and they kept on mentioning ‘wireframes’ which look like a print screen that is better! I just got access to Figma and now can see other wireframes and can copy paste them into my tool. I wonder if I can use Figma instead of snagit? I am going to take a class. It is so exciting. Where have I been to not know Figma? It has the WOW features!

I started doing figma as a hobby, also my boyfriend is into coding so he said, that I could try this. I love creativity, organising. My other hobbies are being outside and cook tasty meals for my loved ones.

About figma, i do not know what my plans are with it. It would be amazing to work as a ui/ux designer, but I am not sure if it is for me. I really enjoy it anyways.

My name is Evan and I just recently switched careers from a graphic designer to a UX/UI designer. I was previously working with the Dallas Cowboys doing apparel graphics like the Zeke Who? tee (as seen on ESPN). Now I’m working with Veryable, a rapidly growing startup in Dallas, helping solve labor issues in the manufacturing and distribution sectors. My designs haven’t been implemented yet though so don’t judge me based on the website design 😅
