Hello everyone,
I’m Ozer, a Backend Developer in Turkey. I have always had a curiosity for design and I can’t let go since I discovered Figma and used it. I’m trying to improve. For the moment I’m just having fun.

Hi I’m Richard Earney - Head of Design for a small offshoot of one of the biggest energy platforms in the UK.
I’ll admit was unsure about Figma when I was first introduced to it having previously done UX design first in Photoshop 😮 then Illustrator 😮 then moved to Sketch when that came along.
A few months in and was a full convert to Figma - now 2 years in and I love the community 😄

Biggest claim to fame is as the original designer of the Shazam app

I currently live in Haarlem, the Netherlands, but I’m a Michigander at heart, and will gladly show you on my hand where I’m from!

I spend my free time outside of Figma learning languages (right now Dutch and Korean, maybe also Mandarin??), traveling when it’s allowed, singing, hanging out with my three dogs, flexing my own design muscles, and checking out the world of UX writing and conversation design.
