My AI is not working, Everytime it shows " Something went wrong, Please Try again".

This seems like a temporary issue rather than something specific to your setup, but there are a few things you can try to narrow it down.

A few quick steps that often help:

  • Refresh Figma and reopen the file
  • Log out and log back in
  • Try using an incognito/private window
  • Temporarily disable browser extensions (especially ad blockers or privacy tools)
  • Clear your browser cache for Figma
  • Check if it also happens in the desktop app
  • Make sure your internet connection is stable

Sometimes Figma AI can also run into temporary service issues, so it’s worth checking the Figma status page to see if anything is currently affected.

If the issue continues, it would be helpful to know:

  • Which browser or app you’re using
  • Whether it happens in all files or just one specific file

That info can help pinpoint what’s going on.

I understand that you are running into a "Something went wrong, please try again" error on Figma Make.

I've gone ahead and created a support ticket for you so the team can take a closer look. Your ticket number is #1953553.

 In the meantime, could you reply directly to the ticket and let us know whether the same issue occurs if you try selecting and prompting with a different AI model? You can find steps to do that here: Select an AI model to use in Figma Make.

It would also be really helpful if you could include a link to the impacted file and invite support-share@figma.com with Can View access. This won't impact your billing and will allow us to reproduce the issue and investigate further with Engineering.
