I understand you gave a user a View seat but were charged $40 as if a paid seat was assigned.
For privacy and security reasons we can’t handle individual billing issues in the public forum. I’ll open a support ticket(#1778667) on your behalf so the billing team can investigate this further, someone will contact you via the ticket email. Please continue the conversation there.
In the meantime, the team admin can confirm the user’s current seat from Admin → People in the file browser: Manage seats in Figma
