Hi community! Has it happened to you that this image (attached) appears in your prototypes when you open a link outside of Figma? How can I skip this screen and go directly to where I want?

Thanks!

Hi @Lautaro, Thank you for reaching out with your query!

I’m wondering, are you bumping into this warning when you’re not logged in? Typically, anyone who doesn’t have an account or isn’t logged in might encounter this interstitial. At the moment, there isn’t a way to turn this off, unfortunately.

That said, there’s an ongoing feature request that you might want to check out:

Remove Leaving Figma External Link Warning for anyone without an account/not logged in

Feel free to take a look and add your voice there!

If you’re seeing this message even when you’re logged in, please try using the browser version. Also, if you are using the prototype action rOpen link], please check ]Open in new tab] option. From my testing, the above may avoid the warning.

Hope it helps! If I overlook anything please let us know.

Thanks,

You can’t - and it will completely ruin your user testing because Figma do not understand user testing. We are not going to get every random one-time user research participant to have to have a Figma account and be logged in to not see this step.

It makes ZERO sense - let us decide whether we need this ‘security’ feature - I’m just having to use another tool instead of Figma because of this.
