Why when i export smtg, I have a layout file?

Hello everyone,
I am not an expert of Figma, I only use it to create website based on the work of a graphist.
Everytime I want to download an image, it download a zip file with like 2-3 subfiles for example: Layout, 10, image.
How can I just download what I need without all the files included ?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out! If you want to export an image, simply select the layer and export it from the design panel as shown below:

You can also export multiple layers by selecting them. This tutorial explains the process in detail, so please check it out:
