Why is my text red and won't move or come off?

It looks like there is a grid on that layer. You can click on that layer and toggle the grid off or remove the grid.

Thank you! My other question is that it won’t let me move the text around. What’s the reasoning/best way to do that? as this is a community template I copied and am using.

Hey @smithowitz1 ! Looks like you are trying to edit a text inside a child component. In a child component you can only edit text, color and some other variables, but unfortunately you cannot move the text around the component.
In order to fix this, you have to either detach the instance, edit the main component as you wish, or create a variant for this component with the changes you want.
