When i am using Cmd + . the nav the canvas should be clear from the rail nav and edit panel but its not happening updated it still not working

Have you tried the other shortcut to hide the UI? ⌘+\
If it doesn’t work either, can you toggle the UI interface by navigating the menu to : view > show/hide UI?
