When are we going to be able to stop lottie animations and GIF's looping? Its been promised for ages

Hi,

As an animator it’s so frustrating seeing the lack of functionality for Lottie files compared to other packages like Flutter Flow. Animating in Figma is fine for most, but not for an animator, creating animation-heavy apps. I need After Effects Animation for character animations and other complex animations. I need Lottie files to play animations in Figma just once on splash screens etc.

Seems so basic for a massive app like Figma…

Please let us know if this is being looked at, otherwise, we will have to stop using Figma for creating apps.

I agree, this is one of the most frustrating issues I have with Figma. Please fix this, I have even tried MP4 with no loop and it still loops it. AAARRRGGGHH!!

One option is it bring the GIF into Photoshop, Export > Save For Web (Legacy) > GIF, disable looping, export, and bring back into Figma. Will then play as a one-shot.

Annoying work around though. 

Please add native Lottie playback! XD had this.
