I just updated Figma and now the show/hide properties for elements within a component are missing. For example, I used to could apply a layer property to text that could edit the text directly in the component instance and now that’s not available in the interface. Also I could apply a layer property to a nested component to show/hide that component and it’s not available anymore. The only available nested component properties are instance swap.

I realized now you can switch back to the old Figma UI, so I did that in order to use the see the Layer options and enable show/hide to a layer. And also text options.
Okay so it’s not just me, I thought I’d gone crazy now because I couldn’t find these options anymore…could you tell me how you switched back to the old UI?
Nevermind, found it. Thanks for the idea! I wonder why they would erase a perfectly working feature. I hope it won’t be permanent.
