Question

Was overcharged for months, can't use annual account

Apparently I’ve been getting charged $20/ month on top of paying an annual subscription. The only way to (maybe) stop getting charged is to change my permissions to “view” only. So now I can’t use my own Figma account I’ve been overpaying for.

Their billing UI makes NO sense which I assume is to trick/force me into paying more. I REALLY want a refund for what I was overcharged and my time wasted.

Hi @OliviaDesigns, thanks for reaching out!

I’m Denise with the Community team at Figma. I completely understand your frustration. My team here on the forum isn’t able to help with Billing, but I saw that you’re already connected with our support team on ticket #2013314.

Our team escalated your case and is now reviewing your account after your most recent response. The team will follow up with you directly via email with more information. If you have any further questions or concerns, please continue working with support directly via email.

UPDATE: There is NO WAY to cancel the monthly billing and I’m going to have to cancel my credit card to stop the charges. Customer service is refusing to refund me even though the fault is with Figma. I’m currently working with my credit card company since these are fraudulent charges.

Hi @OliviaDesigns,

I completely understand why you’re upset and confused, but our support team is actually still trying to help you cancel the monthly Full seat on your open ticket #2013314. In support’s most recent email, they asked whether that Full seat was added  by mistake. Your fastest path forward to resolution is replying directly to Eric's email with that answer.
