Video player settings not working in Figma Slides

I am working in Figma Slides on a client presentation that includes videos and images. The setting controls for the videos are not working. They are there but when I click on them nothing changes.

When I first started to work on the project a week ago I noticed the settings would change but the buttons wouldn’t, so I would have to keep checking in presentation mode what setting was “on” or “off”. But now, the settings are not changing at all and neither are the buttons.

If I click “apply to all videos” the message bubble comes up that the settings have been applied, but nothing else happens. 

I have submitted a ticket twice to support and they have replied yet with a fix. 

Has anyone run into this issue and figured out a fix? Help! Client presentation is tomorrow!

Hi there, Celine from Figma here! Thanks for reaching out to the Forum. Glad to see in the backend that you were able to resolve the issue!

Sharing your solution here in case it helps others: the video was placed inside a text box rather than a media box. Replacing  all the video files resolved the issue.
