Hi @MishaxCapU — welcome to Figma Forum, I’m glad we got in touch. I’m really sorry to hear about the trouble locating your files and I understand how stressful that can be with an upcoming presentation. For your privacy, I’ve removed some personal info from your post.
The message you’re seeing usually means that something has changed with your permission to access the file. For example, you might not be logged into the right account, or the file may have been deleted (or moved). Here are a few steps that may help:
- Check if the file is in your deleted folder (go to your drafts → open the deleted page). If it’s there, right-click to restore it.
- Confirm if a teammate who also had access might have moved the file to a different location.
- Make sure you’re logged into the Figma account that should have access. You can switch accounts following these steps: Switch between accounts.
If none of these resolve the issue, please reach out directly to our Product Support team with a link to the file. They’ll be able to take a deeper look at your case.
Thank you so much for the quick reply and for clarifying this for me. I checked my deleted folder and the files aren’t there, and I also haven’t moved or switched my account. Since I still can’t locate them, I’ll definitely reach out directly to the Product Support team for further help. I really appreciate your guidance!🙂
Hey @MishaxCapU — thanks for hanging in there. I’m following up on open conversations, and it looks like you were able to connect with a Product Support Specialist and get more clarity on the situation. If anything else account-specific comes up, it’s best to continue with them directly. Otherwise, don’t hesitate to pop back in here if new questions come up — the community’s always happy to help! 🙏🏻
