Hey everyone,

I’ve been using Figma Make to build my website and noticed that it generates a lot of React code with many components. I have a few questions:

  1. Is there a way to export or download the entire project as a .zip file, instead of manually copy-pasting the code into my local environment?

  2. Since I don’t need all the React code, is there a way to export only the design, or better yet, convert or export the Figma Make project into a Figma Design project?

  3. In Figma Design, we can use plugins like Builder.io — are plugins like that also available for Figma Make?

Would really appreciate any guidance from anyone. Thanks!

Hi @alpa, thanks for reaching out!

I passed your questions onto our Figma Make team, and here is what they’ve reported back:

You can download the code into a .zip file from the Code tab via the Download code icon shown here:

There currently isn’t a way to only export the design or export a Figma Make file into a Figma Design file, and right now, plugins are not available for Figma Make. They’re saving your feedback and feature requests for consideration and future improvements.

Hi,

I have a similar doubt to alpa. I have built a Figma Make project. However, I’m having big difficulties to export it to Bubble.io. When I try to install Figma to Bubble converter, I cannot open it in my Figma Make project, it is not listed. Thus, I don’t know if my design is exportable to any other frameworks. Can you help me, please? I’m a paying user with Full mode.
