Hello dear Figma Community,
I’m very new to Figma, currently working as design trainee at a company. We recently bought PrimeOne Design System with the motive that it would help us to better communicate and work together with our developers (not at site). The idea was to embed or combine our existing design system into the new kit. (Our DS is very old and due to have been altered by several designers at several points really scattered and tricky)
As I am the only designer in our team and I’m assigned to work this out with the developers, but as a newby I find it difficult to aply without any help. Honestly I feel a bit lost.
My other problem is, that my companys Figma account has a free plan. So a lots of tutorials teach useful features and solutions that are available in supposedly paid plans (eg. publish library, publish changes, dev mode, etc.)
Could anyone help me out, what are the pros of this PrimeOne kit used in free plans as opposed to having a DesignLibrary used within our team?
Or could anybody give a hint how to use, implement, embed (whatever) the existing DS into this tool, PrimeOne DesignSystem kit - or vica versa?
