Urgent: Question about video and mobile prototype features on Professional Plan

I'm using Figma in Japan.

I'm considering upgrading, but the Professional plan only allows video uploads.

Does this mean I can't create video files within Figma or export entire files as videos (like MP4)?

Also, can I play videos and audio when launching a prototype using the Figma mobile app?

I’m happy to help clarify. To answer your questions:

  1. No. Figma does not have a native feature to export or render out actual video files (like .mp4 or .mov) on its own. As a temporary solution, you can create interactive video prototypes or use plugins from our Community to export animated content as video files.
  2.  Yes. Users can play videos and audio when launching a prototype using the Figma mobile app (such as the Figma mobile app or Figma mobile browser view), provided the media is embedded correctly in the design file. This Help Center article walks through how to set that up.
