Converted over to Figma from Sketch. Had a very large Sketch file that I consolidated into two files. One file had the bulk of the work, and the second had extras that were less commonly used, but still important.
I made the mistake of not importing it all into Figma at the same time. I imported the more important file, and had to do a lot of work to fix components so I was back to working order.
Now, I’m looking to import the smaller leftover file, but they use the same components as each other. The first file now with updated, Figma friendly configs. The older with the malformed components from conversion.
I’m looking for the best way to merge and clean everything up, if that’s at all possible. These files are dense, 4 years old with lots of art boards and components. Is there a workflow I should be following to the bring the new file into the fold, without having to go through all of that work fixing the converted components?
I’m not using a library. All my components/symbols sit in the one main file.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
