Share button is inactive, why?

To start figuring this out, could you try hovering your cursor over the Share button and see if you get a message that says, "To share, please move this file to a new home"?
 

If you see this message, it means your file is currently in the “Draft to move” space. Please try moving the file to the Drafts section to see if the Share button activates. You can get more info on this here: Updates to how drafts work > Move a file out of ‘Drafts to move’
