Selecting multiple tabs to preview blended results

HI All, I want to be able to select two colours and at the same time - so for example purple and pink and have it link to an image with both colours blended? what do I search for to be able to do this - We have the blended image - I am unsure and unable to work out how to do this and I suspect I dont know the correct terminology
