I’m conducting research on how teams maintain and evaluate their design systems, and how AI-assisted workflows may change what teams expect from their Figma libraries.
I’m particularly interested in understanding:
- how teams currently identify structural issues;
- which problems create the most friction in practice;
- whether naming, variants, variables, documentation, and library organization become more important when AI tools use the system;
- what language teams naturally use to describe this topic;
- whether a structured audit could be useful.
I’m looking for responses from:
- Design System designers and leads;
- Product Designers maintaining Figma libraries;
- DesignOps practitioners;
- front-end engineers working with Design Systems.
