Replacing the design system on a component from another project

Hello. I'm wondering how I can easily change the design system (colors and fonts) on a component that I copy from another figma project.
For example: I have a figma document where I have all the components saved. Then I transfer this same component to another project. How can I now easily change the original design system of the component with the design system of the project to which I copied the component.
I use local variables and not styles.
What do I need to do to be able to use the design system of the current project on the component. The structure of the design systems is the same.
