Recovery of deleted figma account

Hello Figma Community,

I need urgent assistance regarding my Figma account. Yesterday, I accidentally deleted my account, and I am now unable to access any of my files or projects. These files are extremely important for my ongoing client work, and I’m very anxious about losing them.

Details:

  • Account email: [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII]

  • Approximate deletion date/time: [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII]

  • Account status: [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII]

  • I have already contacted Figma Support and replied to their request for details (Harshadeb’s team, I’m the owner/admin.).

Since the deletion just happened yesterday, I understand that accounts remain recoverable for up to 30 days. I’m hoping the support team can help me restore access as soon as possible.

I would greatly appreciate any advice, confirmation, or escalation from the Figma team or community members who have experienced this situation before.

Hello sir first of all thank you so much for replying. Is there any hope to get back my account because I had some client work in that account. Please sir its a humble request if you can do anything for me either the recovery of my account or just give me the design files please help me I'm in serious trouble 🙏🏻

We urgently request assistance recovering files from a recently deleted Figma account.

Details:

  • Deleted account email: 

  • Team name: Free Team

  • Account deletion confirmation received on: 28-02-2026 10:23 AM IST

  • Team deletion notice received on: [date]

This account contained important production design files required for ongoing business operations. The deletion appears to have resulted in loss of access to critical company assets.

We would like to know:

  1. Whether the account or associated files can still be restored from backup.

  2. Whether ownership of the files can be transferred to another organization member.

  3. Any recovery options available before permanent data purge.

This is business-critical data, and we would appreciate urgent escalation if possible.
