RE: Extended collections: Mode contextual menu missing new options

HI everyone. 

I’m trying to play with new extended collection. 

Suggested workflow mentions to EXPORT current modes, delete them and then re-import them into Extended collection. 

 

The issue is that I do see Extended collections, so the feature has been propagated to my account, but I dont see Import / Export mode functionality in the contextual menu


Any Idea?

It appears to be an Enterprise-only feature, based on the pricing page > Variables feature comparison.

I’m using work account. company I work for definitely has enterprise plan.

Sometime reloading the file - right-click tab > reload - fixes these issues. There have been other times where I had to log out and back in, but I doubt that is the issue here.

Maybe the feature has not been implemented in your account yet?

I tried everything. Log out and back in, quit the desktop app and reopen it, trying on web app… nothing, still the same for me and the whole team. 

I can create an extended collection, so the feature is there. Can it be that the feature is HALF propagated 😂 ?? . So part of it is active ( creation of extended collection ), but part of it is not ( contextual menu options ) ?? Is that even possible??

I wonder if anyone has access to it fully right now? Aside form whomever made the Help Doc article.

Hi ​@Daniele_Q we have the same problem going on. Only thing I can find about it is your post her and an Medium article that says:

Note: Some accounts that should have this feature may still not have access (I still do not as of December 2025.)’

But no solution whatsoever😢

@Daniele_Q I heard from a Figma Design Advocate (employee) that it’s bing rolled out over next week.
