Hello Figma Team,

I’ve been using "Figma Make" and noticed that some of its features are very similar to "Cursor", which I found quite impressive. I’m amazed by Figma’s innovative technology.

I have a few questions regarding its functionality:
Could you let me know which language model "Figma Make" uses to perform its tasks? Is it an in-house model, or does it rely on an external one?
Also, similar to "Cursor", does it operate in conjunction with MCP?

I look forward to your response. Thank you!

Hey @gawon, thanks for reaching out!

We shared this information when we first introduced Make on May 7th, 2025

Figma Make was first introduced using Claude 3.7 Sonnet, but as promised, we began introducing other models since. We’re currently using Sonnet Claude 4.

And to answer your second question, yes - Figma Make operates in conjunction with MCP. Hope this helps!
