Question

Primeicon

Hello!
I have a button set with icon placeholders. The icons reference components from the PrimeIcons community file. According to the instructions in that same file, I need to publish these icons as library components in my project, but the Publish button in the panel is disabled (greyed out).
What could be the reason for this?

Hey hey @Iuliiagav 👋 Welcome to the community! Thanks for your question. Before we move forward I have a few follow-ups for you:

  • What's your plan and seat type on the file?
  • Are you trying to publish from your own copy of the file, or from the PrimeIcons community file you opened?
  • Where does the file live — your drafts, or inside a project/team?

Thanks for the additional details! — Jaycee

Hey @Jaycee Lewis , thanks for the reply
1. Editor + Professional
2. At first I tried to publish from the PrimeIcons community file but than I’ve made copy and put it in project team folder
3. Inside the project team.

Hi, @Iuliiagav - stepping in for @Jaycee Lewis. Thank you for the additional info - this seems like a confusing experience for you.

Is this a project you created yourself, or one you were invited to? Are you able to publish any other files within the same project? A disabled publish button definitely suggests a permission issue, so we just need to figure out together why that is. Thanks!
