Plugin review taking over 2 weeks — is this normal these days?

I submitted my Figma plugin for review a little over 2 weeks ago, and it's still in the "In Review" state without any updates so far.

I’ve seen some mentions that reviews can take longer recently due to backlog, but I wanted to check with others here:

  • Is 2–3+ weeks currently considered normal?

  • How long did your plugin approval take recently?

  • Did anyone experience delays longer than this?

Also, if there’s anything I should do while waiting (e.g., resubmitting after improvements), I’d really appreciate any advice.

I’ve checked on my end and can confirm that your submission is still in the review queue. I can see it was submitted on April 16, and I’ve added an internal note to help increase its visibility.

We’ve been seeing a higher volume of submissions recently, which is impacting review timelines. I know the wait isn’t ideal. While I don’t have a specific timeline to share, your submission is definitely in line and hasn’t been missed.

There’s nothing you need to do on your end for now. The team will follow up via email as soon as it’s been reviewed, whether that’s with approval or feedback.

Thanks again for your patience while we work through the queue, really appreciate it 🙏

    I’ve since addressed the issues from the review and resubmitted an updated version of the plugin.

    Just wanted to ask if re-reviews typically go through faster, or if it will follow a similar timeline as the initial review?

    Great question on timing - in some cases, re-reviews can move a bit quicker since there’s prior context on the submission, but this isn’t guaranteed and can vary depending on overall queue volume.
