To renew your Education Plan, you’ll need to reapply by filling out this form: figma.com/education/apply. Once submitted, you’ll go through the same verification process to confirm your student status.

Good afternoon. I’m trying to complete the verification process, but I’m getting the following error:
 


 

I study at a provincial institute in Argentina, and it doesn’t appear in the list of higher education schools. What solution could you suggest? I only have a few days to resolve this, and I’m worried about what might happen to all my current projects. Is there any risk of losing information?


Hey ​@ELUNEY! Thanks for sharing the screenshot. Unfortunately, when you receive this error it means you cannot receive further extension's as your time on your educational plan has expired. Online courses and bootcamps are eligible for 6 months only. You can find this information, and more, at our Help Center: Verify education status

When your Education plan ends, your team will automatically be downgraded to the free Starter plan. You won’t lose any of your files, but there are a limitation on the Starter plan. We recommend that you do the following:

  • Move up to three Figma Design and three FigJam files into one project
  • Remove extra projects
  • Move files to another team or to your Starter team's drafts
  • Download copies of your account invoices
