size of PDF exported is large(1.2Mb) for simple text frame. When i tried to edit in the acrobat, bounding boxes around elements are appearing as straight lines. I feel this has something to do with large sizes being exported

Our team confirmed that this is a bug, but since the bug only occurs once you try to edit the PDF in Acrobat, we’re not able to fully debug the issue.
Have you tried reaching out to Adobe Acrobat’s support? Here’s a topic from their community that may help:
