I wanted to create a ring and add a stroke, 
normally what I do is: 

1. I create a circle
2. I convert the shape to outlines
3. I add a stroke to the outline shape again

However now when I create a ring and then convert it to outline stroke it adds a weird stroke at the bottom (that I also cannot remove without “destroying” the ring) 

What should I do - anyone familiar with this problem? Is it a bug?
