I’m working on a project where I’d like to place two separate PDFs (each with text) into different panes inside Figma — kind of like a side-by-side document viewer.

Is there any way to add a PDF (or images of the PDF pages) so that Figma can read the text itself (OCR-style), instead of it just being a flat image?

Can Figma Make (or any plugin) highlight sections of the PDF text if I search or ask for something?

If OCR or highlighting isn’t possible natively, are there recommended plugins, workarounds, or integrations that can help (for example, extracting the text and keeping it synced with the PDF pages)?
Has anyone done something similar in Figma or knows the best way to approach it?
