When I apply a string variable to the text that is not text property (of a component), it jumps to the current selection as expected, so that I can select the intended option right away after mistakenly selecting the wrong one, or simply, select one in the same folder as it is the whole point of putting things in folders.

But if it’s a text property in a component, it won’t jump to the selected variable. (img2) Happens with every single text property. Why? Is it a bug, or is it a feature to drive me crazy?
