Disclaimer: I’m almost completely new to Figma, so I apologize if I’m missing something extraordinarily basic.
I’ve used the AI creator to design a website and done a little bit of manual modification in the code. I’d now like to migrate the design to Framer so I can publish it.
The problem is that I can’t select anything. The tutorials I see for what I’m trying to do all feature the ability to select components by double-clicking them, and there’s a “Layers” menu on the left-hand side. I have none of this. All I see is the AI chat on the left-hand side and the ability to toggle between the Preview and Code at the top.
Does anyone know why I can’t select anything and why this menu doesn’t appear for me? Figma’s AI support seems to have no idea.
This issue persists across Firefox and Chrome and doesn’t resolve if I duplicate the project.
