Hello! I just signed up and got verified for Figma for Education and followed the steps to create a new Education team (Wisconsin Virtual School). My profile says “Education account, but the team still says “Free and I run into limitations that prompt me to still upgrade to the Professional plan (ex: only having 1 project). Is there just a delay in fully verifying my account even though it appeared as though it was all set? Or am I misunderstanding the explanation from Figma about what this Education plan entails?

I took a look at your account, and it seems your education status isn't showing as validated right now.

Did you maybe verify your education status with a different account?

Just to be sure, could you quickly check these steps:

  1. Log in to Figma using the account you want to verify. If you have a school-issued email address, please use this address.
  2. Visit the Education status application page: https://www.figma.com/education/apply
