I really enjoyed using the new eyedropper tool that was released in mid-November. However, today I noticed that my eyedropper seems to have reverted to the old version. It now uses the magnification circle in the upper right corner and doesn’t allow me to hold Shift to pick color variables instead of hex values.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to get back to the new eyedropper tool UI? As far as I can tell, everything else is still using the updated UI3.
Any insights or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Same here. I also tried clearing my cache and restarting in the desktop app.
Have the same issue. Picker has rolled back to the old version
Same issue here. The new version was so much more useful.
Same here, anyone knows what’s happening?
same issue / new color picker not available anymore
Hi. After the Figma update, the color picker has reverted to its default state. It can no longer copy styles or color codes. Clearing the cache and restarting doesn’t solve this issue.
Agreed (0= I’d be very glad to get that buffed color picker back. Looks like sort of schadenfreude from Figma developers, they gave us a great tool just to get it back after we appreciated that tool improvement. I’m upset.
Yep, same here, reverted back to the old UI.
Seems like we designers can’t live without the convenience it once gave us (jk).
But please, at least just tell us what was the issue or the reason why you withdrawn that feature.
Same here, please fix it as soon as possible. This is a very useful feature.
