Our design system has an Icon component to help with scaling and icon swapping. The structure is simple, with an icon instance nested within a frame. Variants of the component allow for easy scaling.

An engineer recently noticed that when they inspect the Icon component in Dev Mode, clicking the first level displays the default icon instance in the preview window. If the embedded icon was swapped, the only way to see it correctly in the preview window is to double click into the instance.

Has anyone found a solution so that clicking the first level of the component will display correctly in the preview.
