Need help with advanced prototyping - one action triggers another component variant to change

I would love some help please :) Thank you!

I want one action to trigger another. Ie: When I click the ‘number’ (which is a component), another component variant (the box) goes from close to open. I cannot figure out how to do this. I’ve tried applying variables too but it just does not work.
