Dear support Figma team.

I have noticed that my draft file is missing. I know the name of the file and remember even the names of some pages inside, but I couldn’t find it at all. I have only one account and I have checked deleted files. It is not appearing anywhere. I definitely created in my drafts, and it has no teammates to delete it. 

Please help, how could I restore it or find it?

I understand that you’ve lost a draft file and are trying to locate it.

I checked on our end, and it appears that you have access to several teams. Please double-check the following locations for each team by switching between teams in your file browser: 

  • Drafts
  • Trash

If you’re still unable to locate the file after trying the steps above, the next step would be to contact our support team directly via this secure form: Submit a request

When submitting the form, please include:

  • The URL(s) of the file, if available

  • Any other information you have, such as the file name you mentioned

You might be able to retrieve the file URL from:

  • Your web browser history

  • Any previous conversations where the file was shared

  • If you’re using the desktop app, go to “File” > “Recently Closed Tabs.” Click the file name to reopen it, then right-click on the opened tab and select “Copy link.”
